Pick the moveset you can use well
| Family | Practical use |
|---|---|
| One-handed sword | A balanced starting point. |
| Sword and shield | Hold attack to guard, then release to counter; guarding does not remove all incoming damage. |
| Spear | Use reach and the charged throw. |
| Gauntlets | Stay close for repeated hits; account for short reach. |
| Greatsword | Cover a broad area, but allow time for its slower charge. |
| Twin swords | Follow the flash timing to chain attacks. |
| Whip | Keep the target near the weapon’s effective tip range. |
Holy Light’s parry is not restricted to sword-and-shield weapons. Arcane Whip traversal is also separate from the Whip equipment family.
