Return to Curiosity Cabinet
Defeat Carmilla in the Library to unlock Aerial Rush. Return to Curiosity Cabinet, a few rooms to the right of the Planetarium. This is a post-Carmilla route, not an opening-save pickup.
Lower constellation: blue human figure
Use the center of the blue human disc as your reference. Activate these four orbs:
- Lower-left side.
- Upper-left.
- Right side.
- Lower-right.
Leave the small orb near the upper-right and the one near the lower-left of the bottom edge alone. Correct orbs enlarge; all four link when the group is complete. If you make a mistake, land on the nearby ledge or the ground to reset and try again.
Upper constellation: purple skeleton
The upper disc uses a different group. The demonstrated route starts at lower-right, continues through right side and top-right, then reaches lower-left side. Leave the other upper-left and bottom orbs alone.
Use each disc’s own center to judge these positions. The two groups are not one interchangeable set of four orbs, and this route does not establish a mandatory unique activation order.
Reach Lisa’s Laboratory
Launch upward from the activated constellation. Use Aerial Rush through the spike corridor and grapple to the gold ring. Continue through the small breakable platform section, then head left toward the vertical row of orbs beside the spike-covered pillar. Climb past that row and use the upper-left grapple route to enter Lisa’s Laboratory.
The chest stands in front of the central bookcase among the laboratory vessels. Open it to obtain the Masterpiece greatsword Durandal.
Aerial Rush is required for this route. Whether Double Jump can be omitted from the earliest possible pickup is uncertain; do not treat this as a route proven with only the Carmilla unlock.
