Enter from a Mirror of Life
Progress to Catacombs and meet the Ferryman. Then stand at a discovered Mirror of Life and hold crouch for a moment to enter the travel hall. PC and Steam Deck players report the Ferryman meeting as the unlock prerequisite.
Choose a discovered destination in your current region. More destinations become available as you explore.
Mirrors versus the Ferryman

| Ferryman dock | Travel between regions through dock destinations. |
| Resting at a mirror | Recover resources; this is a different action from crouching to enter the hall. |
If the mirror effect starts and cancels
Check that you have met the Ferryman, are holding crouch in front of a Mirror of Life and have discovered the intended destination in the same region. The prerequisite reports are from PC and Deck; they do not identify every possible failure on every platform.
Do not confuse the travel hall with the story branch
Hall of Mirrors is also used for the maze, Succubus and Eleanor story route. Using a mirror to fast travel does not complete those quests.
